Dios En La Carne

7 de Marzo del 2021

Juan 1:1-5, 14

Opening Hymn: I Stand Amazed (My Saviour's Love)

Verse 1

I stand amazed in the presence

Of Jesus the Nazarene

And wonder how He could love me

A sinner condemned unclean

Chorus

How marvelous how wonderful

And my song shall ever be

How marvelous how wonderful

Is my Saviour's love for me

Verse 2

For me it was in the garden

He prayed not My will but Thine

He had no tears for His own griefs

But sweat drops of blood for mine

Verse 3

In pity angels beheld Him

And came from the world of light

To comfort Him in the sorrows

He bore for my soul that night

Verse 4

He took my sins and my sorrows

He made them His very own

He bore the burden to Calvary

And suffered and died alone

Verse 5

When with the ransomed in glory

His face I at last shall see

'Twill be my joy through the ages

To sing of His love for me

Prayer:

Everlasting God,

Because of your tender mercy toward all people,

You sent your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ,

To take upon himself our flesh,

And to suffer death upon the cross,

That all should follow the example of his great humility.

Mercifully grant that we may follow the example of his patience

And also be made partakers of his resurrection;

Through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Congregational Hymn: Amazing Love

Verse 1

My Lord what love is this
That pays so dearly
That I the guilty one
May go free

Chorus

Amazing love O what sacrifice
The Son of God giv’n for me
My debt He pays and my death He dies
That I might live
That I might live
(That I might live)

Verse 2

And so they watched Him die
Despised rejected
But oh the blood He shed
Flowed for me

Verse 3

And now this love of Christ
Shall flow like rivers
Come wash your guilt away

Live again

Pastoral Prayer

Lord's Prayer

OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN,

HALLOWED BE THY NAME.

THY KINGDOM COME.

THY WILL BE DONE

ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD,

AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES,

AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US,

AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION,

BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM,

AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY,

FOR EVER AND EVER

AMEN

Welcome: Pastor Nieves

Opening Hymn: Grace Greater Than Our Sin

Verse 1

Marvellous grace of our loving Lord

Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt

Yonder on Calvary's mount outpoured

There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt

Chorus

Grace grace God's grace Grace

that will pardon and cleanse within

Grace grace God's grace Grace

that is greater than all our sin

Verse 2

Sin and despair like the sea waves cold

Threaten the soul with infinite loss

Grace that is greater yes grace untold

Points to the refuge the mighty Cross

Verse 3

Dark is the stain that we cannot hide

What can avail to wash it away

Look there is flowing a crimson tide

Whiter than snow you may be today

Verse 4

Marvellous infinite matchless grace

Freely bestowed on all who believe

You that are longing to see His face

Will you this moment His grace receive

Prayer:

O God, your glory is always to have mercy.

Be gracious to all who have gone astray from your ways,

And bring them again with penitent hearts and steadfast faith

To embrace and hold fast the unchangeable truth of your Word,

Jesus Christ your Son,

Who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns,

One God, For ever and ever. Amen.
