From CONSUMING to INVESTING

Daniel 5:17-33

Belshazzar was confused as a giant hand appeared ruining his party. He had forgotten that he was after all a man accountable to God like all of us. He had to give account for whatever fortune, whatever fame, whatever influence, whatever power he had. To his surprise God has interrupted his grand party to deliver a simple message: you have been found lacking. Maybe we are not kings or queens, maybe we don’t run a country, but we are without a doubt equally accountable as he was for everything that God has ever placed in our hands. Like Belshazzar, we will all have to respond for how we invested the talents that God has given us. The God most high sits on the throne and we are accountable.

Daniel 5:17-35

Belsasar estaba confundido cuando una mano gigante apareció y arruino su fiesta. Se había olvidado de que después de todo era un hombre responsable ante Dios como todos nosotros. Tenía que dar cuenta por cualquier fortuna, fama, influencia, o poder que tenía. Para su sorpresa Dios había interrumpido su gran fiesta para entregar un mensaje simple: Te he encontrado deficiente. Tal vez no somos reyes o reinas, tal vez no corremos un país, pero somos sin duda alguna, igualmente responsables por todo lo que Dios ha puesto en nuestras manos. Al igual que Belsasar, todos tenemos que responder por como hemos invertido los talentos que Dios nos ha dado.

¿Cuál talento tienes que podrias usar para la gloria de Dios que no estas usando?
