Romans 3:22-24
Most mothers feel that they are failing as mothers. They
feel that they are not living up to society expectations. They wish that they
had more patience, were better organized and more confident as mothers. They
questioned themselves and spent time going over their reactions to the
situations that life throws at them. And yet, the perfection that we so
desperately seek at times it is just a myth no more real than the Avengers, a
jack-o-lope or the chupacabra. No matter how real it may seem, perfection is a
myth outside of Christ.
When is the last time that you felt that you were failing
short of expectations? Explain.
Why do we still fall in the trap of perfection if we know
that no one is perfect?
Why do we struggle so much to accept grace in our lives?
What would change immediately in your life if you truly
accepted that we are only redeem by the grace that we received through Christ?
